For two days, the hills will fill with music and the grounds with art. People from across Tripura and the Northeast will gather for a festival that truly belongs to this land. This is Khumulwng Music & Arts Festival (KMAF) 2026, where Tripura’s roots meet the rhythm of a new generation. And with an MBTS shuttle pass, your festival entry and your ride are both taken care of.

Picture yourself in an open-air crowd as the first guitar notes ring out into the evening. Traditional sounds blend into modern music, local artists show their work, and the smell of regional food fills the festival grounds.

The music comes first.
KMAF brings together independent, folk, fusion and rock artists who each carry the sound of the Northeast in their own way. On Saturday, 14 November, Guwahati-based artist Shosingha performs live on the KMAF stage.

Old roots, new beats.
Tripuri and Borok culture share the stage with a young, independent music scene. Tradition finds a new rhythm and a new generation to carry it on.

Art off the stage.
Meet local creators, walk through installations, and watch live art take shape.

YOUR FESTIVAL STORY STARTS WITH THE RIDE

MBTS, the Official Travel Partner of KMAF 2026, is running a shared festival shuttle from Agartala to the Khumulwng Music & Arts Festival on both days. Every MBTS shuttle pass includes your KMAF festival entry pass, so one booking gets you through the gate and back home. Board at a fixed pickup point in Agartala and ride with other festival-goers to the venue. The shuttle runs from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day, and the same vehicle brings you back to the city.
